Oren Tepper is a member of Steckbauer Weinhart, LLP’s Real Estate Transactions team and assists in representing borrowers and lenders in connection with the negotiation and documentation of permanent and mezzanine financing. Furthermore, Oren Tepper has experience in the purchase, sale, leasing and financing of shopping centers, hotels, and multifamily apartment properties.
Prior to joining Steckbauer Weinhart, LLP, Mr. Tepper represented debtors in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy filings and negotiated loan restructuring and workouts on behalf of residential homeowners. Mr. Tepper also negotiated the purchase of Promissory Notes secured by 1st Trust Deeds as well as Real Estate Owner properties and short sold properties, both residential and commercial, on behalf of high net worth clients and investors. Mr Tepper has worked at Gross, Kleinhendler, Hodak, Halevy, Greenberg & Co in Tel Aviv, Israel where he participated in an internal investigation of option irregularities of publicly traded companies on NASDAQ.
Mr. Tepper has performed pro bono work for organizations such as Bet Tzedek Legal Services as well as Neighborhood Legal Services, representing wrongfully foreclosed homeowners against financial institutions.
